Big Snow Mountain

Ripe pu erh tea "Big Snow Mountain". For this tea, we selected leaves from several high-altitude tea gardens in the legendary tea region of Mengku Big Snow Mountain. The trees here belong to the Mengku Da Ye Zhong variety — "large-leaf from Mengku" — and are over a hundred years old. This venerable age, combined with the unique characteristics of the terroir, gives the tea a distinctive flavour that is deeply rooted in this specific land.

The fermentation was carried out in Menghai, the birthplace of this technology, by a true master of the craft. The classic method of processing in large batches with a high degree of fermentation has endowed the ripe pu-erh tea with a characteristic and recognisable profile. This dense, robust, and full bodied taste — with a long history and a reputation well established among seasoned tea lovers — has earned a special name: Menghai Wei, or "the Menghai flavour."

This tea is an ideal candidate for collecting and long term aging.
