Dream of the Red Chamber

In this ripe Pu-erh, we have captured a light, refined taste of red wine, chocolate, and wild berries — the hallmark of tea with a lower fermentation level. We blended tea material from old gardens in Pu'er City and Lincang, fermenting them in baskets of 200 kg each.

Several years of careful storage in our warehouse, the tea has undergone further transformation — its character has grown more expressive and profound.

It will appeal to all fans of lighter-style ripe Pu-erh, and perhaps even to those who normally avoid it altogether. It carries none of the heavy fermentation notes, astringency, or bitterness; at times it even recalls a sun-dried black tea!

We have been crafting this blend for nine years now, and we confidently recommend it for long-term aging.
