Gao Shan Ya Shi Xiang

Today, the Dan Cong cultivar known as Ya Shi Xiang is one of the most sought-after varieties in China. Its sweet, floral, and simultaneously fresh flavor has even outshone Mi Lan Xiang. Gao Shan Ya Shi Xiang stands out as a true leader among the Ya Shi Xiang varieties. While this cultivar is relatively young and does not yet have the age of some older tea plants, it still boasts unique characteristics: altitude, terroir, and the expertise of the tea master.

Our Gao Shan Ya Shi Xiang is grown at an elevation of over 1000 meters, lending it exceptional qualities. The leaves are hand-harvested in spring and processed with great care, using minimal fermentation. The final roasting is done at high temperatures for a short duration, helping to lock in its vibrant and complex aroma. The term "high aroma" or "gao xiang" refers not only to the fragrance itself but also to the superior quality and strength of the tea as a whole.

The aroma of this tea is captivating: in the dry leaves, you'll find notes of osmanthus and honey, while warming the leaves reveals hints of jam and red berries. The taste is light, clean, refined, and noble, with refreshing floral and sweet berry undertones.
