Golden Phoenix

Golden Phoenix is a rare tea variety grown in the Wuyi Mountains, officially recognized as a distinct type in 1973. One of its unique characteristics lies in the leaves — their oval, elongated shape, especially when illuminated by sunlight, resembles the feathers of the mythical Phoenix's tail.

The production process involves intense roasting, which halts fermentation and removes excess moisture. When brewed, the tea reveals a deep, golden-amber infusion with a complex aroma blending notes of berries, caramel, coffee, cognac, dried cherry leaves, and honey. The flavor is rich, balanced and full-bodied, with gentle hints of berries and confectionery sweetness.
