Kun Lu Shan Qiao Mu Chun Cha (Shu Cha)

This shu pu-erh is one of the treasures of our tea collection. As residents of Kunlunshan Mountain, we have insider knowledge about how tea leaves from this region are typically used. We can confidently say that our shu pu-erh marks the first production of shu pu-erh using tea leaves from Kunlunshan since 2012.

This shu pu-erh was handcrafted by us using tea leaves of the same high quality we use for our sheng pu-erh—a rarity in itself, as shu pu-erh is often made with lower-grade material. The fermentation process was carried out in small 30kg batches, right here on Kunlunshan, using local spring water. This process infused our shu pu-erh with the very essence and energy of this unique place.

Our pu-erh is a blend of spring and autumn harvests from 2020, sourced from qiao mu tea trees around 80 years old. This combination results in a tea with a perfectly balanced flavor and aroma. The profile is exceptionally smooth and delicate, with numerous subtle nuances.

It's hard to fully convey the experience of this tea through words—it can only be described as embodying the true taste of Kunlunshan.
