Kun Lu Shan Qiao Mu Chun Cha (Lu Tou) 2016

The tea is a perfect example of how pu-erh dry storage works. The material was harvested out of straight standing tea trees (Qiao Mu) in spring 2016. It has been stored in a special warehouse for 6 years with temperature and humidity precisely controlled. The process lets the tea ripe, saving the unique taste of the specific location. The long time storage makes the taste soft and balanced. Some astringency is immediately turned into a sweet aftertaste with a combination of wild berries and tropical fruits notes. The tea is pure and oily in appearance.
