Wu Dongshan is one of the highest peaks of Fenghuang Mountain, standing at around 1400 meters. This region is known for its ancient tea trees. The area is most famous for Mount Wudong, with its steep terrain, surrounded by high mountains, and fertile soil. The humid climate here provides ideal conditions for tea cultivation.

Tea production in this region has a history of about 900 years, which coincides with the age of the oldest trees. There are no artificially created varieties here; all the trees were planted over a century ago from seeds, before the classification of tea varieties began. At that time, the only tea was simply Dan Cong, grown from seeds. As the practice of naming varieties based on terroir developed, teas began to be recognized by regional names, such as Sun Zhong Dan Cong or Ba Xian Dan Cong.

Our tea comes from trees that are over 100 years old. The harvest is limited each year and rarely exceeds 12 kilograms. The brew offers a harmonious and delicate mountain freshness. The distinct feature of this tea is its smoothness: it does not dry the throat but glides smoothly, like silk. A sweet aftertaste quickly follows, filling the palate with a complex array of subtle flavors. In terms of quality, this tea can be compared to a true Gushu Sheng Pu-erh.
